Another sweet adventure for me! That Bonnie and the others are getting soooo jealous of me because I am the favorite and get to go everywhere with CoatiMom and Dad…The day started out pretty fun..I say started out fun because I got to let all my admirers get a chance to visit me and a few chosen lucky ones got to scratch my back….The water is very pretty just not so sure about the big cement pond with the water spraying up from it..That was kinda loud for me. If fact water comes from strange places that grow from the ground by the lake, I think they call them sprinklers..Why doesn’t the lake water the ground from below?…There was some yummy bug hunting going on too…. It really was a lazy day and I enjoyed just laying around and napping between bug hunting rounds. Things where going great then I started to get really tired. When I get really tired I get cranky…Actually I really wasn’t feeling well to begin with. I don’t think Coati Mom and Dad realized that but, I never want to turn down an adventure. I nipped CoatiDaddy on the nose and then on the ride home, I wanted to play with the cords attached to the computers and CoatiMom went to stop me so I got fussy at her too! That was A huge mistake…I spent the rest of my ride home in the pet carrier… 🙁
WoW look what Coatimom did for us. We have lots of toys and fun stuff and plenty of visits from Coatimom and Dad but, this is pretty cool. CoatiMom knew we are curious. She put in some live entertainment for us. I don’t understand why the tortoises can’t come over for lunch *winks*. She put them just out of our reach darn it! Apparently there is a new man in the tortoise ranch and he gets a pen to himself. Not even sure why she bothers with those silly shelled cows,Coatis are much better pets!
Let’s just rethink this whole animals smell thing………My Senses detect some smelly parts here, of course Coati Daddy is kinda furry too…So the lesson here folks is to bathe every day even if you don’t think you need too. Don’t make me have to sniff you out in public cuz I will do it….

YeeeHawwww! Ride’um Cowgirl Coati! Yep that’s my name. I learned to ride a pony. Just what every little girl dreams of, my Daddy got me pony..(O.K. it was a loaner, but it’s makes for a better story so just roll with it) It’s very very awesome, I forgot to mention at the Critterfest Saturday just before I won my Blue Ribbon, I got to ride a pony for the first time. Just a word to the wise, they don’t like to be groomed! The pony was very cool but my ride ended after I decided to groom him. I was only being nice……
I WON FIRST PLACE FOR THE MOST UNUSUAL PET!
I suppose it’s my duty has matriarch of the Coati Cottage to make public appearances. The nearby town had a pet fair much like the last one I went to but, larger. They advertised it for everyone to bring their pets and had many contests for different pet categories like the biggest, the littlest, cutest costume, most unusual, longest tail and lots of other stuff. It was very nice of the town to invite all the other animals (just to make them feel good) when I know this was all done for me. My public demands it of me, plus I really like people. I got to meet many interesting pets and people. I like the kids the most! They are so easy to get treats from *giggles*. I met the coolest ferret lady, we really hit it off, that’s her in the picture with the long braided hair. Just between you and me, I think she wants to be a CoatiMom. Can you be a ferretMom and A coatiMom at the same time? Wouldn’t that make you a ferroatiMom LOL? Oh well, me and my CoatiDaddy had another great day and made lots of awesome new friends while CoatiMom took photos. Oh, I got a special announcement, stay tuned for my next blog! It so wonderful, It get a blog of it’s own….
Boy Howdy! Last night we had a rain storm come through that really kept me up. I was dry and snug as a slug in my comfy coati cottage but the sound of that wind was scary. Just look at our house… What a mess.. My toys are everywhere! Anyhow, bright and early…. CoatiMom’s two new roosters Butch and Sundance decided to do a dueling rooster crow show right by my door….GGGrrrrrrr! Chop Chop. (that is the sound of my chompers ready for action, if only I could) Alright so I wouldn’t hurt a fly. WHY I ask you, WHY do we need roosters? I only like the kind of chicken that makes eggs, now those are good ones! And do I really have to have an alarm clock 7 days a week! I leave all the work stuff to Clyde. I don’t like to get busy. I like naps, back scratches, and treats…Speaking of treats, anyone got some extra treats in your pockets? Any ole marshmallow will due……They are my favorite, HINT… HINT….
I’m ready…….Take me some place any place will do, It’s time to go again. Where’s the keys? I can drive..I promise I can, really would I lie to you?
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my fans that gathered to have a visit with me. It was wonderful that you assembled this pet fair to give all the little people a chance to meet me and my CoatiDaddy. I had a wonderful time showing myself off. With CoatiDaddy as a personal bodyguard I felt safe and secure. I am not really sure why all the other animals were there or why CoatiMom brought Thorn the Puppy. I guess they wanted to get a look at me too. It was an interesting day. Honey has now left the building……..
